God’s timing isn’t just good; it’s perfect. He is omniscient and knows all things in the past, present, and future. The Lord sees every aspect of our lives, including our needs and desires. In His great wisdom, He understands what’s best for us. His divine schedule for our lives is always perfect and achieves His good .   Paul tells us more about God’s perfect will for each of us. I. WE SHOULD BE A LIVING SACRIFICE (v.1) (A) Present our body. The body represents you but there is more to you than just a body. (1 Cor ) The priest was “sanctified” by having blood put on his ear, thumb and toe, representing his thoughts, actions and goings.

A Living Sacrifice. 12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.   God’s Perfect Will is contrasted with His Permissive Will, i.e., that which falls outside of what He Perfectly Wills for us, but which He permits to happen. God’s Perfect Will is seen as the goal for Christians, and finding it and living within it lead to blessings, while not seeking it or finding it leads to living inside God’s.

God’s will is perfect, yet we are not perfect. Sometimes the best we can do is to accept that His will is perfect. There are hard parts of God’s plan that must be accepted. His will is perfect, mysterious and opposite of what we think. I’ve found that I can only live it out when I accept that His will is perfect and beyond my understanding. The Permissive Will of God is that will which God does not decree to occur, nor is it His will since it is not in accordance with His 's permissive will is His will to permit sin to occur. God allows man to rebel against Him, and in this God permits people to do such things as lie, steal, etc.
